PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
This project upgraded the existing plant flow from 15 mgd to 32 mgd, while improving the quality of waste water treatment. J. W. Robinson & Associates, Inc. was the architectural designer and coordinator for the construction of eight facilities as part of the total treatment plant project. The new facilities included a new laboratory building linked by a two-story meeting room, computer and lunch room tower with an existing structure that was renovated for the plant’s administrative offices. The total laboratory-administrative complex totals approximately 16,000 gross square feet. Special design features included a computer facility with access flooring, environmental control, material storage and terminal room, locker rooms for men and women, as well as special equipment for the laboratories.
