PROJECT DESCRIPTION:          The Federal Building and Courthouse - Gainsville, Georgia project consisted of two distinct phases; a building survey and production of lead and asbestos abatement plans and as a second phase involving the development of plans for general repairs and alterations.
    The lead and abestos abatement phase of work included a complete building and systems survey, obtaining samples of all finishes and suspect materials, lab testing and creation of abatement summary reports, plans and specifications.
    The second phase of work involved general space alternation and repairs to the existing building. This work included restoration and cleaning of the exterior, installation of a new fire - sprinkler system, spatial alterations, interior finish upgrades and seismic bracing and reinforcement of mechanical and electrical system componets.
