PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
Programming and design of a housing community that included a 70-home
development on an 18.4 acre site. This effort was to be under the oversight
of the City of Albany Community & Economic Development Department who
provided funding for the project.
After preliminary planning, the scope of the development was changed to a
townhome apartment development, in order to bring the costs in line with
funding.
The units consists of slab-on-grade, wood frame with vinyl siding and brick
veneer exterior. The structures have a combination hip and gable roof made
of asphalt shingles. Also on the property is a mailbox pavillion, tot-lots,
ball courts and a community building.
