PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
This facility was the first of four (4) facilities designed and constructed for Dekalb County. Site adapted from a prototype design, program requirements include turn-out gear room, sleeping quarters, three (3) offices and watch room, separate men and women toilets and showers, linen and storage closets, apparatus room with three (3) bays, dayroom with counters, preparation tables vending machines and commercial hooded stove, classroom, communications office, visitor’s handicap toilet, mechanical rooms, washer dryer, two (2) exterior fuel dispensers and separate parking for visitors and staff.
